A custom-built asymmetric car inspired by an artwork by Picasso is among 100 classic vehicles due to go under the hammer in south London later.
The Citroen 2CV, by car sculptor Andy Saunders, 45, from Poole, Dorset, could fetch £14,000.
A star of the Battersea event is a 1963 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder seen in the film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, expected to fetch £3.5m.
Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu drove the Ferrari in the film.
RM Auction said it expected at least £20m if all 100 cars sell.
Royal wedding car
It took Mr Saunders six months to convert the Citreon into a cubist artwork inspired by Portrait of Dora Maar by Picasso.
The converted car is fully functional and can reach speeds of up to 65mph.
Mr Saunders said: "I tried to merge the lines between car design and art."
He hopes the vehicle will be bought by the Tate Gallery or the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
His other works include a "credit crunch Hummer", which is a converted 1998 Suzuki Wagon R, and one of the world's flattest cars, called Flat Out. The 1989 Fiat 126 sports car is 22in tall.
The other celebrity cars are a 1955 Ford Thunderbird, once owned by Hollywood star John Travolta, and a 1953 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible State Limousine used in the royal wedding of Belgian Prince Albert II and the Princess Paolo.
A rare 1938 Bugatti Type 57C Atalante, a 1938 Horch 853 Special Roadster and a 1924 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Torpedo are considered star attractions among the vintage vehicles.
The event is being supported by Sotheby's.
