A 16-year-old girl has been found guilty of animal cruelty after drowning a ship's cat in the River Thames.
The teenager threw Kilo the cat, who lived on HMS Belfast, into the river on 9 February this year.
Kilo was thrown from a gangway that connects HMS Belfast to the dock between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, Camberwell Youth Court heard.
The teenager, who cannot be named, is expected to be sentenced at the youth court next month.
Kilo's body was never found.
The cat had previously been taken in from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home by the ship's crew.
