Two men who circled a man like "hyenas" as they kicked him to death have been jailed for a minimum of 15 years.
Dennis Hind and Tutu Kabalika binged on drugs and alcohol before they killed Stephen Miller, 45, in a street in Eltham, south-east London, last year.
The Old Bailey heard he suffered 76 injuries - including 46 to the head and broken ribs - in the unprovoked attack.
Hind, 21, from Eltham, and Kabalika, from Belvedere, 20, have been given life sentences for murder.
The court heard that Hind and Kabalika had had vodka, beer and cocaine at a party before carrying out the attack in August last year.
They came upon Mr Miller, 45, who had gone for a late-night walk to clear a headache.
Judge David Paget said: "One witness described the two of you circling him like hyenas and taking turns to kick him like a football."
He added: "As you kicked and stamped Stephen Miller to death, you found it amusing - even when he begged you to stop."
The attack continued until two men living nearby frightened them off with their dog.
Hind and Kabalika initially blamed each other for Mr Miller's death.
Sentencing, the judge said: "You must have been aware of what you were doing. You two young men attacked and killed another man essentially for no reason."
