A teenager was stabbed to death outside a bar in south London.
Oliver Kingonzila, 19, from Croydon, was found by police called to reports of an assault outside the E Bar, in Croydon, at about 0100 BST on Saturday.
He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment, but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Detectives said they had an "open mind" about the attack's motive. Two 18-year-old men have been arrested and are being questioned about the killing.
'Good boy'
One of the arrested men had been treated for injuries to his hands, a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said.
Next-of-kin have been informed of the death. A post-mortem examination will take place later.
The E Bar is on South End, a major Croydon thoroughfare.
The majority of the road was sealed off with police tape and a bunch of flowers had been placed at the foot of the cordon.
A side street had also been taped off.
One woman, who would not be named, described the victim as "a good boy".
She said: "I knew him when he was younger. He used to be friends with my son. He was a good boy."
The road closure had caused chaos in the area as shops were closed as scenes of crime officers carried out their investigations.
One shopkeeper, who refused to be named, said: "All these businesses are closed because one idiot doesn't know how to enjoy himself."
Det Ch Insp Damian Allain said: "We now know that there was a fracas outside the E-Bar involving three people - one of whom was the deceased.
"We need to hear from anyone who saw that incident."
