A murder inquiry has been opened after a man died two weeks after being injured in a fight outside a takeaway.
Jonathan Brady, 36, from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, was attacked on 16 August in Chingford, east London, but died in hospital on Tuesday.
Police said he and a friend had been to the Chicken Shop after a night out and got into a row with three other men.
Officers said they were attacked outside the shop by the men, who punched and kicked them.
They said the attackers continued to kick Mr Brady after he had fallen to the ground and then ran off.
The Metropolitan Police want any witnesses or anyone with information about the attack to contact them.
