Man remanded over double murder

Mohamed Korneh (l) and Selorm Gbesemete

A man has appeared in court accused of the double murder of two men at an anti-gun demonstration six years ago.

Mohamed Korneh and Selorm Gbesemete, both 21, were shot at the Tudor Rose nightclub in Southall, west London, on 15 December 2002.

Shakah Anderson, 27, of Chaplin Road, Bristol, appeared before Ealing Magistrates' Court, on Saturday, charged with their murder.

He is due to appear at the same court on Wednesday.

Mr Gbesemete, of Stonebridge Park, north-west London, was found collapsed in an alley near the club and died at the scene.

Mr Korneh, of Croydon, south London, died later in hospital.
