The last remaining stray cat has been rescued from the Olympic Park site after eluding capture for months.
A charity saved 186 cats from the building site in Stratford, east London, but could not catch one they named Blackjack.
The Celia Hammond Animal Trust finally lured him into a trap containing a plate of chicken this week.
Charity founder Ms Hammond said: "I just could not bear the thought that he would be left there with no food."
The London Development Agency allowed the charity onto the 800-acre site after Ms Hammond helped to re-house a litter of kittens found there last July.
Charity workers were permitted to remain as demolition work started but in May it became too dangerous for them to stay there.
'Wild as anything'
They returned when a furniture factory worker alerted them to a sighting of large long-haired cat Blackjack.
After a further three weeks of surveillance, they caught him in an early morning trap.
"To be honest once we had left the site in May I didn't think he was still alive," said Ms Hammond.
"But he is in remarkably good shape, and though he was completely wild as anything when we first got him he has now calmed down a bit."
The charity aims to find a home for Blackjack within the next month.
