Man found with stab wounds dies

A man who was stabbed in an attack in east London has died.

Officers called to Durant Street, Bethnal Green, in the early hours of Monday found the man with stab wounds to his chest and arm.

The victim, aged in his early 20s, was taken to the Royal London Hospital but was later pronounced dead.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said a second man, also in his early 20s, was treated in hospital for head injuries and has been arrested over the attack.

It is believed the two men knew each other.
