Victims critical after shootings

Two teenagers remain critically injured in hospital after separate shootings in north London in two days.

One of the youths, aged 17, was found in Gilbeys Yard, Camden, at about 2300 BST on Saturday with a gunshot wound to his head, police said.

A day earlier, at about 0300 BST on Friday, a 17-year-old was shot in the stomach in Girdlestone Walk, Archway. The shootings are not being linked.

Police said they were both fighting for their lives in hospital on Sunday.

Officers arrested a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old man near the scene in connection with the shooting in Archway.
