Four held after teenager stabbed

Four teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old was stabbed to death at a south London block of flats.

The teenage boy, from Peckham, was found with stab wounds in a stairwell at Newall House in Borough at 0140 BST.

He died at the scene. He has yet to be formally identified. He is the 12th teenager to be fatally stabbed or shot in London so far this year.

Four male youths - aged 15, 16, and two aged 17 - were arrested in the vicinity and are in custody in south London.

Det Ch Insp Mick Duthie said: "Another youth has lost his life through knife crime, and we urge anyone with information to come forward as a matter of urgency."
