Student on stabbing murder charge

Sunday Essiet A student has been charged with murdering a 15-year-old boy in south-east London.

Myles Maddy, 18, of Corraline Walk, Abbey Wood, south-east London, is accused of stabbing Sunday Essiet to death in Invermore Place, Woolwich.

Mr Maddy is due before Greenwich Magistrates' Court on Monday. A man, aged 21, also arrested over the murder has been bailed until next month.

Sunday was the fifth teenager to be killed in London this year.
