Teenage murder suspects released

David Nowak A group of teenagers held in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed to death in north London have been released.

David Nowak was found injured by officers called to Farleigh Road, Stoke Newington, on Saturday night.

He died soon after in hospital. Another boy, aged 15, who was also stabbed, is in a stable condition.

Police arrested 15 people aged between 13 and 19. All are bailed to return pending further inquiries.

Post-mortem tests showed David died from a single stab wound to the liver and kidney.

It is thought he was involved in a dispute during a birthday party at Somerford and Shacklewell community centre in Shacklewell Road.
