Three teenagers stabbed in street

Three teenagers have been stabbed in an attack by a group of youths, leaving one in a critical condition.

The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon on the Old Kent Road in Walworth, south-east London.

A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said the victims were a 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds.

One is in a critical condition with head injuries, another has a serious chest injury and the other is stable with minor injuries.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "At this early stage it is believed the three youths were in an altercation with a group of black males."
