Bus stop victim 'still suffering'

Marsha McDonnell An alleged victim of a man accused of stalking women at bus stops said she suffers from the effects of the attack.

Hairdresser Irma Dragoshi was struck on the head as she waited for a bus in Longford, West Drayton, west London.

Mrs Dragoshi, who has recently returned to her native Albania, told the Old Bailey she still has headaches nearly four years after the attack in 2003.

Levi Bellfield, of West Drayton, west London, denies two murders and three other attacks between 2001 and 2004.

Big lump

The former doorman and wheel clamper denies attempting to murder Mrs Dragoshi and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Mrs Dragoshi, who lived in Hounslow, was on her way home from work in Slough on the night of the alleged attack on 16 December 2003.

Giving evidence from behind a screen, she said her husband had called her at the bus stop while she waited for a bus.

"He used to ring me every night asking me where I was and did I finish work," she said.

"The next thing, I was in hospital. I had a very big lump in the back of my head. It didn't fit in my hand.

"I was trying to touch it but it was really very, very painful. It was so big. It is still there, you can feel it."

Mr Bellfield denies murdering students Amelie Delagrange, 22, in August 2004, and Marsha McDonnell, 19, in February 2003.

He also denies the attempted murders of Kate Sheedy in 2004 and the kidnap and false imprisonment of Anna-Maria Rennie in 2001.

The trial continues.
