Gas blast residents return home
Residents have been allowed to return to their homes after an overnight gas main explosion forced more than 200 people to leave their homes.
About 80 people spent the night in Hammersmith Town Hall after the minor blast in Sinclair Road, Shepherds Bush, west London, on Wednesday night.
A spokeswoman for National Grid said there was "no danger" now.
Engineers are still securing two homes but the residents will be able to return later this evening, she added.
The 50m exclusion zone on Sinclair Road has been removed but engineers will continue some minor repair work at the junction of Sinclair Road and Addison Garden.
National Grid said most people were able to stay with family and friends while about 80 residents were cared for by council staff at the town hall.
