Tube station opens after gas leak

Services on the Hammersmith and City tube line have resumed after a gas leak.

Hammersmith Underground station, on the Hammersmith and City Line, was closed on Monday, but is now reopen.

The line was shut between Hammersmith and Edgware Road stations. Shepherd's Bush Road was also closed between Brook Green and Hammersmith Broadway.

London Underground said the leak was near the Hammersmith Palais and an investigation was under way.
