More than 200 iconic cars have been parading through central London to mark the return of the British International Motor Show to the city.
The Shaguar of the Austin Powers movies, Scooby Doo's van and Judge Dredd's police car were among cars driven from Park Lane to Whitehall.
Collectively the motors taking part are worth about £10m.
Up to 100,000 people are due to attend the motor show which has been hosted in Birmingham for the last 28 years.
The first British Motor Show was held at Crystal Palace in 1903. It was held at Earl's Court between 1937 and 1976 before moving to Birmingham in 1978.
Luxury motors
Model Jodie Kidd was due to wave the flag to mark the start of the event, which will feature vehicles from every decade of the last 100 years.
These will include a vintage Ford Model T, Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, Aston Martins and World War II vehicles.
The biennial motor show will be open to the public at ExCel in east London from 20 to 30 July.
"This parade will mark the start of an incredible couple of weeks in the British motoring calendar," said event spokesperson Kirsty Adams.
