Woman, 76, killed in road crash

A 76-year-old woman has died in hospital after two cars collided on a Lincolnshire road.

A silver Suzuki Wagon and a silver Ford Focus collided on Northgate at Pinchbeck at about 1915 BST on Sunday.

The woman, who was driving the Suzuki Wagon, was taken to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital with serious injuries but died later.

The Ford Focus driver, a 25-year-old local woman, suffered minor injuries. Police appealed for witnesses.
