Stab inquiry officers arrest man

Police investigating the stabbing of a 59-year-old woman in Lincolnshire have a arrested a man.

Carol Couch was stabbed several times at the Brandy Wharf Farm Caravan Site in Waddingham on Monday night. She is in a stable condition in hospital.

Lincolnshire Police are treating the attack on Mrs Couch, of Keadby, near Scunthorpe, as attempted murder.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man overnight on Thursday and he is due to be questioned about the attack.
