Woman dies week after collision

A woman has died a week after being involved in a crash in Lincolnshire.

The woman, thought to be from Grantham, was driving a Ford Ka when it collided with a Volkswagen Golf on the A607 Harlaxton Road on 5 January.

Police were called to the scene at about 0800 GMT where they found the woman with serious head injuries. The other driver was not hurt.

The woman died in Lincoln County Hospital on Monday. Witnesses to the crash are asked to contact police.

Three people have died on Lincolnshire's roads so far this year.
