Knife threat suspect in stand off

A man has been arrested following a stand off in Lincolnshire where police sealed off a house for several hours.

Officers were called to a property in Saxilby late on Sunday evening following reports of a man making threats with a knife.

Surrounding streets were closed and a negotiator was called in. A man gave himself up in the early hours of the morning, police said.

There were no reports of injuries and the man was detained in Lincoln.
