Deer killed and injured in attack

Broken deer enclosure

A deer has been attacked and killed and another seriously injured in a Lincolnshire village.

Police were called to a farm in Walesby, Market Rasen, on Tuesday afternoon where they found the dead and injured deer.

Officers said offenders had cut a hole into the fence of a deer enclosure, which holds about 100 animals.

They believe the deer were attacked by dogs. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
