Parked trucks targeted by thieves

Lorries parked in lay-bys on the A1 in Lincolnshire are being targeted by criminals, police have said.

Eleven lorries parked by the busy route have been raided in recent weeks and a variety of goods stolen.

Officers said they believed criminals were focussing on the stretch between Colsterworth and Dry Doddington.

They appealed for anybody with information to get in touch and asked passing motorists to keep an eye out for suspicious activity.
