A 43-year-old man needed hospital treatment after being assaulted while he was strimming grass in a Lincolnshire town.
The man was working at the back of Gemini Printers on Redstone Road in Boston at about 0800 GMT on Tuesday when he was assaulted.
He asked the two men to move to allow him to cut the grass where they were sitting but they attacked him.
The man was taken to the Pilgrim hospital with face and leg injuries.
He has since been released from hospital.
Description released
Police said they were keen to trace two men in connection with the incident.
One is described as 5ft 8in (1.72m) tall, white, of average build with dark, shoulder length hair and was wearing a dark blue tracksuit and a black baseball cap worn back-to-front.
There is currently no description available of the second man.
Lincolnshire Police has asked anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact them
