Motorist dead in harvester crash

A man has been killed in a collision between a pickup and a combine harvester on a road in Lincolnshire.

The incident took place on Saturday morning on a road between the A15 and A607 at Brauncewell, near Sleaford.

The driver of the pickup, a 51-year-old from nearby Dorrington, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have appealed for witnesses. It was the 27th death on Lincolnshire's roads this year, compared to 51 at the same time 12 months ago.
