Fire crews tackle recycling blaze

Fire crews have tackled a fire at a recycling plant at Caythorpe near Grantham in Lincolnshire.

Six engines were called to Mid UK Recycling on Tuesday evening, but the owners said only one building on the site was affected.

A spokesman from Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue said the cause of the blaze is still being investigated.

Company spokesman Mark Ridler said the fire was contained quickly and no-one was injured.

He said the firm hopes to continue operating as normal despite the fire.
