Child, 11, dies after car crash

An 11-year-old boy has died following a car crash in Lincolnshire.

The boy was a passenger in a car when it collided with another vehicle on the A151 Bourne Road at Colsterworth near Grantham on Saturday.

He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital by air ambulance in a critical condition but later died from his injuries, police said.

Both cars ended up in a ditch and one of the drivers was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
