Driver charged over family deaths

A man has been charged with causing the deaths by dangerous driving of three family members who were killed in a road crash in Lincolnshire.

Neil Margerison, 23, of Low Farm, Clayton Le Dale, Blackburn, was summonsed to appear at Sleaford magistrates on 15 August.

Flt Lt Neville Rees, 43, his wife Karen, 41, and their son Andrew, 11, died on the A17 Newark Road, Cranwell.

Their car was crushed between two lorries in the crash on 5 January.

The Rees' older son David, 14, was visiting friends at the time of the crash.

The family were based at RAF Cranwell.
