Police uncover stolen tools haul

Property believed to have been stolen in garden and shed burglaries in Leicester has been recovered by police.

Last week officers executed a warrant at a house in Swadlincote and recovered items including bicycles, petrol strimmers and lawn mowers.

They are thought to have been taken from properties in the Ashby and Measham areas and police are keen to reunite them with their owners.

A woman, 32, and a 28-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

They have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
