A police investigation has begun after a Lithuanian factory worker's body was found in a remote Leicestershire field.
Gediminas Kristukas's death is being treated as suspicious. Post-mortem tests on the 23-year-old, who lived in Boston, Lincolnshire were inconclusive.
A dog walker found his body near Quenby Hall in Hungarton on Christmas Day.
His car, a blue Audi A6 with Lithuanian plates and five-spoke alloy wheels, is still missing. Officers want anyone with information to come forward.
'Extremely remote'
Mr Kristukas left his lodgings in Boston on the afternoon of Christmas Eve, police said.
He was last seen when he told his landlady that he was going to a cash machine at a nearby supermarket.
Det Ch Insp Phil Smith said: "This young man's body was found in an extremely remote spot with no sign of any means of transport that got him there.
"We need to piece together Mr Kristukas's last known movements, and I would urge anyone who saw him after around 3pm on Christmas Eve to get in touch.
"I also need to find Mr Kristukas's car and appeal to anyone who thinks they may have seen it, or know its whereabouts, to let us know."
