Two men charged over car shooting

Two men have been charged in connection with an incident in which shots were fired in Leicester.

Shots were fired by the occupants of one vehicle at another vehicle on Shanklin Drive on Wednesday night. Three men were later arrested.

A 26-year-old from Hinckley has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

A 25-year-old from Bournemouth has been charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.

Both men have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Saturday morning.

A 24-year-old has been released from custody.

Police said no-one was injured in the incident.
