Man is remanded over care deaths

Rashmi Badiani A man has appeared in court charged with murdering two women whose bodies were found in a Leicester care home.

Nathan Mann, 19, of Avonside Drive, Crown Hills, Leicester, is charged with killing Rashmi Badiani, 56, and Radhaben Chauhan, 72.

He was remanded in custody to reappear before Leicester magistrates on Monday.

The bodies of the two women were discovered by a member of staff at the Hayes Park Nursing Home on Cropthorne Avenue on Wednesday.

Mrs Radiani and Mrs Chauhan were found dead in the room they shared.
