Boy is arrested over park robbery

Market Harborough skate park A 12-year-old has been arrested after two young boys were assaulted and robbed at a Leicestershire skate park.

The victims, aged 10 and 11 years old, were approached by three youths who assaulted them and stole their coats at the skate park in Market Harborough.

Officers said the youths also forced the boys to touch themselves inappropriately during the incident near Welland Park Road on Sunday.

The boy, arrested on suspicion of robbery, is being questioned by police.

The victims were treated in hospital for cuts and bruises.

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the incident.
