Wizard beats school to web prize

A Leicestershire school has been pipped to the post by JK Rowling's Harry Potter in a poll for website of year.

The Leaky Cauldron site, inspired by the activities of the young wizard, beat off competition from 40 sites to scoop the Yahoo People's Choice award.

Woodland Grange Primary in Oadby clinched the education category prize in the competition in January and was short listed for the poll.

The school site includes homework tips and pupils' weblogs.
