Appeal to family of stab victim

Police want to trace family and friends of a 60-year-old man stabbed to death at a house in Lancashire.

Peter Curtis was found dead at his home in Hatfield Road, Fleetwood, in the early hours of Tuesday.

Steven Nerney, 33, of no fixed abode, has appeared before Wyre Magistrates' Court charged with murder.

Police said they want to speak to anyone who knew Mr Curtis. Officers believed he had connections, and possibly family, in the Isle of Man.

Mr Nerney has been remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court.

Earlier two men, both aged 24, were released without charge.
