Child treated after fire at house

Three people, including a five-year-old child, were taken to hospital after a fire at a house in Blackpool.

Fire crews were called to the house in Auburn Grove in the South Shore area on Sunday afternoon.

The five-year-old girl, her mother and grandmother were treated at Blackpool Victoria Hospital for minor injuries and the effects of smoke inhalation.

It is thought the fire started accidentally in the front room of the house.
