Man is bailed over woman's death

A 30-year-old man arrested over the death of a woman from Chorley has been bailed by police.

The man was being held on suspicion of manslaughter after officers found the body when they were called to a property in Cavendish Street on Sunday.

He is now in the care of the local authority and is in a hospital.

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out on the 30-year-old woman later. Police believe her death may have been drugs-related.

##### Detectives are investigating the unexplained death of a 30-year-old woman found dead at her home in Lancashire.

Officers found the woman after being called to the property in Cavendish Street, Chorley, on Sunday afternoon.

A man, also aged 30, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of manslaughter and taken into custody.

A post-mortem examination will take place on Monday. Police believe that her death was drugs-related.
