A man who completed the world's longest rollercoaster marathon has finally ended his epic ride - a week after smashing the Guinness World Record.
Richard Rodriguez, 48, overtook the previous total of nine days and 12 hours at 1201 BST on 6 August.
But the New Yorker carried on his quest on The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach to maximise his total.
He finally stopped on Monday after 401 hours and almost 8,000 rides, covering more than 6,300 miles (10,138km).
Mr Rodriguez, from Brooklyn, was being challenged by two riders at Freizeitland Gieselwind park in Germany, but they dropped out.
They halted their attempts after 36 hours due to medical reasons.
Mr Rodriguez had held the record for nearly 30 years until German Frank Rossler beat it last year.

But he has now beaten the new record by a week, subject to authentication from Guinness.
He said: "It feels great to be the world record holder once again. It's a little strange to be back on solid ground but I'm sure I'll readjust soon.
"The Pleasure Beach staff and visitors to the amusement park have been so supportive during this marathon attempt so I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me to stay positive and achieve this world record."
Mr Rodriguez had to eat, drink and sleep on rollercoasters as part of the challenge.
Pleasure Beach manager Amanda Thompson said: "Huge congratulations to Richard for this superb record break, his stamina during this toughest challenge yet has been incredible."
In accordance with Guinness Book of Records guidelines, he accumulates five minutes respite for every full hour ridden to allow him to change clothes, shower, have a hot meal and transfer on to the Big Dipper for night-time riding.
