Open-top tram for Blackpool stars

Victorious Blackpool team Blackpool Football Club fans who did not make the trip to Wembley have been given the chance to welcome home their victorious team.

The club secured promotion to the Championship with a 2-0 play-off final victory over Yeovil Town on Sunday.

Players, coaching staff and directors celebrated their win with a trip along the Promenade in an open-top tram.

They ended the parade at the Town Hall in Talbot Square, where a civic reception was held at 1700 BST.
