Police have urged a man who went missing with a schoolgirl to give himself up.
Detectives believe Alan Keegan, 37, may be in north Wales after Maxine Bindi, 13, walked into a police station there on Friday.
The teenager from Fleetwood, in Lancashire, had been missing since 2 October and contacted police after an appeal on BBC One's Crimewatch.
Mr Keegan is the ex-boyfriend of her mother, Bridget.
She had urged her daughter to come home in an appearance on Crimewatch on Thursday evening.
Det Insp Colin Fish, of Lancashire Police, said: "We believe he is in north Wales probably in the Conwy, Colwyn Bay area and he is moving between Llandudno and Wrexham.
"He appears to know the area quite well and he will know that we're looking for him.
"I would say: 'Come in and let's get this sorted out'."
Specially trained officers have been talking to Maxine and her family in order to work out where she has been and who with.
She had not been seen previously since getting off a tram at Central Pier, Blackpool.
