Body found by man walking his dog

Paul Day

Police are investigating the discovery of a man's body by a dog walker in Whitstable in Kent on Thursday.

The body was found on woodland in South View Road and had been there for some time, police believe.

They are checking the possibility it may be that of missing Whitstable man Paul Day and have informed his family.

The death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination will be held on Monday, police said.
