One dead and two injured in crash

A woman has died and and two men have been taken to hospital after a road crash in Kent.

Police said two cars, a Jeep Cherokee and a Ford Ka, were involved in the collision in Longfield Road, Tunbridge Wells, just before 1330 BST.

A woman passenger in the Ka had fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, officers said.

The two male drivers were taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.

Appealing for witnesses, a spokeswoman for Kent Police said the family of the dead woman, who has not yet been named, had been informed.
