Fresh appeal over man shot in bed

Danny King

A fresh appeal for information has been made by police investigating the murder of a 51-year-old man who was shot dead in bed at his home in Kent.

Danny King, also known as Shep, was killed at his home at Medina Road, Ditton, near Aylesford, in the early hours of last Friday morning.

Kent Police said they were keeping an open mind as to the motive.

Overnight on Thursday, investigating officers carried out road checks in the area and distributed leaflets.

Mr King was shot four times shortly after 0300 BST on 17 October.

His wife was also in the house, along with two children.

Kent Police have appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious on Thursday evening or the early hours of Friday to come forward.
