Inquiry over body found in lake

A man's body has been discovered by a member of the public in a lake in Kent used for watersports.

The body was found on Friday afternoon in Leybourne Lake in Larkfield, near Maidstone.

Kent Police, who were called to the lake at about 1330 BST, are investigating the death.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out in the next few days. The man has yet to be formally identified by police.
