A revamped theatre and cinema complex in a Kent town could be reopened "as a matter of urgency" after the management company running it pulled out.
The keys to the Stag venue in Sevenoaks were handed back to its council owners by Kino Holdings after its doors were closed for business on 7 July.
Sevenoaks District Council has now resolved to look at ways to get the complex open again as soon as possible.
Councillor Elaine Bracken said all the options were being considered.
She said the priority was to reopen the Stag to provide theatre, cinema and youth outreach programmes.
"Over the coming weeks we will be considering a variety of options to make sure we get the best deal for the town and for the district," she said.
Kino Holdings Ltd cited financial difficulties combined with poor trading and low ticket sales as its reasons for closing the venue, despite signing a 25-year lease only last September.
