Residents who live near the Kingsnorth power station in Kent have been invited to a meeting to challenge environmental campaigners planning a protest there.
The organisers of next month's week-long Climate Camp have threatened to bring the Hoo site to a standstill.
Their protest is against plans to build a coal-fired power station on the site.
Local residents have expressed concern about the way the camp is being organised and Monday's meeting will enable them to ask questions.

Earlier this month, the owners of Kingsnorth Power Station were granted a High Court injunction to protect the site's operational capacity during any protest.
The Camp for Climate Action is to be held from 3 to 12 August.
The protesters are also planning to launch a flotilla of craft on the River Medway.
The letter inviting residents to the meeting, at the Sturdee Sports and Social Club, makes it clear that "hundreds and perhaps thousands of people" will protest at Kingsnorth on 9 August "to demonstrate the severity of climate change and generate debate on how we reduce carbon dioxide emissions".
'Exciting and diverse'
"The safety of Kingsnorth workers and ourselves will be paramount.
"We plan to cause maximum disruption for E.ON and the government, and minimal disruption to Hoo residents."
Lauren Sumner, from the Climate Camp, added that organisers were confident that residents would want to get involved once they find out "just how exciting and diverse the camp is set to be".
"We are also keen to let them know about the excellent organisation and contingencies we have in place so that any concerns can be dispelled."
