Man denies stabbing young brother

A man has pleaded not guilty to stabbing his younger brother to death in a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court.

Louis Lumpkin, 27, of Artillery Road, Ramsgate, Kent, who denied murder, was remanded in custody to await trial.

Gary Lumpkin, 26, of the same address, was pronounced dead when police were called to an address in Northdown Road, Cliftonville, Margate, in February.

Post-mortem tests revealed he suffered multiple stab wounds. Louis Lumpkin is due to face trial on 17 November.
