Plans for a new art gallery in Kent are progressing with the finalisation of modified design ideas.
The £17.5m Turner Contemporary project, for the Rendezvous site at Fort Hill, Margate, is being overseen by David Chipperfield Architects.
Following public consultation on the original drawings, the number of floors proposed for the building has changed, as have some of the external views.
The latest plans can be seen at the town's Theatre Royal on 16 October.
A public meeting and exhibitions were staged in Thanet in June.
Planning application
Councillor Mike Hill, from Kent County Council, said: "I was delighted by the support the project attracted at the last meeting, and we are grateful for the comments and suggestions we received for the building.
"The revised plans reflect many of those ideas," he added.
The Turner Contemporary gallery is now envisaged as a two-storey building with a pitched roof rather than a three-storey one with a flat roof.
As well as views out to sea, the building will also now look across to the western side of Margate.
In addition to exhibiting areas, it will contain an education room, shop and cafe.
An application for planning permission is expected to be made to Thanet District Council later this year.
