Comedy actor Chris Langham has appeared in court charged with a string of indecent assaults and child pornography offences.
Mr Langham, from Cranbrook, Kent, is charged with a serious sexual offence and eight counts of indecent assault.
The 57-year-old spoke only to confirm his name and that he understood bail conditions during his hearing at Maidstone Crown Court.
He did not enter pleas and is due to appear at the same court in February.
The alleged offences took place between 1994 and 1998.
The actor is also charged with 15 counts of making indecent images of children last year.
Several honours
His bail conditions stipulate he must not contact a number of named people, directly or indirectly, and not have unsupervised access to anyone under the age of 16.
Mr Langham has said he is "determined" to clear his name.
The actor was charged with sexual assault in September and with making indecent images of children in May.
He won a Best Comedy Performance award at the Baftas for his portrayal of government minister Hugh Abbot in the BBC political satire The Thick Of It and last year won Best Television Comedy actor at the British Comedy Awards for the same role.
He has announced he will withdraw from all BBC projects pending the outcome of the case.
Mr Langham's next appearance at Maidstone Crown Court will be on 15 February.
