People are being warned about potentially dangerous artificial Christmas trees which are being sold from a warehouse in North Lincolnshire.
Trading standards officials said the trees were recalled by B&Q last year because of a safety issue with the control box.
Officials have received a tip-off the trees are being sold for £10 from a warehouse in Scunthorpe.
They urged anyone who has bought one to contact them.
Malcolm Osbourne, head of North Lincolnshire Council's Trading Standards, said: "The trees are potentially dangerous because they were recalled by B&Q because of a fault - the control box overheating, which could be a potential fire risk."
Mr Osbourne said B&Q had taken steps to safely dispose of the trees but it is believed they had subsequently fallen into the wrong hands.
The 6ft 6in, pre-lit 300 mains, multi-functional trees are packaged in a blue branded B&Q box.
Mr Osbourne said: "If people have bought one in last few months we would ask them to contact us and we will take the matter on from there."
